Musician Cardi B gained her following on social media way before she got into the mainstream media.
However, the Bodak Yellow singer deleted her Instagram account, after a verbal exchange with Azaelia Banks, another rapper.
In an interview with the Breakfast Club, Banks implied that ‘intelligent conversation’ changed when Cardi B came to the picture.
“There was just this really, really, really intelligent conversation going on nationally and then everything just kind of changed and then it was like Cardi B,” Banks said during the interview.
It was not the first time Banks has insinuated that Cardi B is illiterate. She had in February called the pregnant rapper an “illiterate, untalented rat”.
Before she deleted her Instagram, Cardi B had responded to Banks insults.
