Kenya To Become Ultimate Water Sports Destination

While the beautiful country of Kenya may be known for safari and other attractions, water sports has not been one. That perception is starting to change, though, because Kenya is home to sandy beaches along the Indian Ocean and has trade winds that are perfect for windsurfing, kitesurfing, and paddle boarding with dolphins nearby.

According to CNN, “located around 100km (62 miles) up the coast from Kenya’s second city, Mombasa, Watamu has long been known for its rich Swahili culture and its history. Now it’s also known as one of the country’s most-impressive vacation spots and an incredible water sports haven.”
