Knicks super fan Tracy Morgan fell ill while sitting on courtside seat during Monday’s game between the Heat and Knicks, causing a brief delay at Madison Square Garden.
The comedian vomited in his seat during the third quarter and was taken away in a wheelchair while arena staff cleaned the area. A photo shared on social media showed Morgan hunched over next to MSG Networks broadcasters Kenny Albert and Walter Clyde Frazier, as reported by the New York Post.
A fan-shared photo captured a concerned onlooker in black T-shirt as Morgan fell ill courtside during the Knicks-Heat game.
A separate video circulating on social media showed the comedian being wheeled away with a towel over his face as paramedics and arena staff assisted him.
A post on X alleged that Morgan had a nosebleed and struggled to stand before falling ill courtside. In the third quarter when the incident happened, ESPN footage captured a Knicks towel boy speaking with a referee while cleaning up the vomit.
“We hope Tracy feels better soon and look forward to seeing him back courtside,” an MSG spokesperson told The Post in a statement.
Knicks star Josh Hart also wished Morgan well after the Knicks secured a 116-95 win over Miami.
“We hope everything is good with Tracy Morgan, avid lifetime Knicks fan, so prayers go out to him and his health and safety,” Hart said.
A longtime Knicks fan, Morgan has been a regular at Madison Square Garden since attending his first game in 1981. In a 2023 interview, the SNL alum and 30 Rock star proudly spoke about his dedication to the team.
“I’m not a fair-weather fan. I’m with the good, bad and ugly,” he said. “I’m always going to be a fan. I’m a New Yorker. I’m a New York fan.”

The cause of Morgan’s medical episode remains unclear, but he has faced significant health challenges in the past, including diabetes and alcohol-related issues that led to a kidney transplant in 2010.
In 2014, he survived a near-fatal accident on the New Jersey Turnpike when a tractor-trailer struck his luxury minibus, killing his longtime collaborator, Jimmy Mack.
Morgan suffered multiple broken bones, head injuries, and lingering effects such as memory loss and headaches.
