Noura is a 19-year-old girl who was sentenced to death by a court in Omdurman, Sudan’s second biggest city. She had been in the Omdurman prison for a year and was charged with murder after she killed the man she was forced to marry, after he tried to rape her again. Petitions by activists across the world saw the death sentence overturned but the prosecutor is trying to have it reinstated.
