Gali-Gali Africa

Gali-Gali AfricaIf you are proud to be African, then look no further, because here is one of the best songs to dance to as you show off your African pride. In “Africa,” child dancers mix rhythmic moves with the traditional bakisimba dance of the Baganda. The dancers wear the grass skirts, feathers, and kitenge (cloth) that are distinctive of the dance in between beautiful images of Uganda.

Qrim, wearing a kanzu, the traditional dress of Baganda and Bosoga, drops positive knowledge about Africa and encourages us to all work together to make it the best continent in the world.

“Everywhere I go, everywhere I reach, people talk about the Motherland, Mama Africa. They say, ‘Africa, is the No. 1.’ They say, ‘Africa, the pride of the world. It’s me and you to join hands as one, to turn Africa, into a better place,” he sings.

Enjoy it for yourself here (and don’t be afraid to crank the volume up in order to show your African pride)!
