How Lamar Jackson is making an impact in the NFL.

Lamar Jackson is one of the talents who have awe-struck the National Football League (NFL) through his exceptional blend of speed, agility and playmaking ability. From his breakout as a young quarterback to becoming a league MVP, Jackson’s career is marked by record-breaking performances, unforgettable moments and a playing style that has redefined the quarterback position.

He has solidified his status as one of football’s most dynamic players looking at his standout stats and the key moments.

Currently, he plies his trade with the Baltimore Ravens as a quarterback in the NFL.

Larmar, who was born on January 7, 1997, began his college football with the Louisville Cardinals—and won the Heisman Trophy in 2016. His stint with the Ravens happened in the first round of the 2018 NFL draft as a final pick. While he was to be a backup in the first season, he got the opportunity to start after Joe Flacco was injured. At the age of 21, Jackson made the record as the youngest quarterback to have been featured in an NFL playoff game after his team clinched a division title.

He is noted for his dual-threat playstyle. In 2019, Jackson took the lead in the NFL with touchdown passes—and also set the single-season record in rushing yards for a quarterback. Following the success chalked, he attained the second unanimous NFL Most Valuable Player (MVP) and the fourth black quarterback to win the award.

Not relenting, Jackson maintained his effort towards the MVP campaign and became the first quarterback to have multiple seasons with 1,000 rushing yards and also led the Ravens to a third consecutive playoff appearance.

Lamar Jackson decided to sign a five-year contract worth $260 million after the 2022 season. Following this, he helped the Ravens to the top seed in the American Football Conference (AFC). He was subsequently named NFL MVP for the second time. It also contributed to the Ravens’ first AFC Championship game since 2012.

In the history of the NFL, Jackson holds the accolade as the only quarterback with 4 perfect passer rating games, amounting to at least 15 passing attempts.

Competing in the North division of the American Football Conference, Lamar Jackson’s team, the Baltimore Ravens are second on the table. They have secured seven wins and recorded three losses. The Ravens have obtained 318 points and 253 points against them. They also hold a 4-1 home record and a 3-2 away record. The team has managed to obtain a streak of W2.
