Former rapper turned podcaster Joe Budden has once again taken aim at Drake, this time in response to the Canadian rapper’s legal actions against Universal Music Group (UMG).
Drake filed lawsuits on back-to-back days, accusing UMG and Spotify of conspiring to artificially inflate the streams of Kendrick Lamar’s diss track Not Like Us. His first filing occurred on Monday in New York, followed by a second on Tuesday in Texas.
Drake’s legal team alleges that UMG knowingly supported a song that defames him, leveling accusations of egregious crimes, including labeling him a “certified pedophile” and engaging in predatory behavior. The lawsuit characterizes these claims as defamatory and suggests that Drake may pursue further legal action.
In response, UMG has strongly denied the allegations, calling them “offensive and untrue,” and reaffirming its commitment to ethical marketing and promotional practices.
On the latest episode of The Joe Budden Podcast, Budden did not hold back in his criticism of Drake, delivering a fiery tirade.

“He’s a selfish, lying, manipulative sack of st who has made enemies for 15 years, and now we’re here at the f***ing boiling point,” Budden declared. “You’ve been behind the scenes, being the biggest sack of s**t you could possibly be… Ns know what it is out there. That’s it! And he’s f***ing white! And he’s Jewish, and he had too much dip on his chip.”
Budden also accused Drake of allegedly sending money and messages to “n****s’ baby mothers,” adding fuel to his harsh critique.

Switching gears, Budden weighed in on the growing tension between Lil Wayne and Kendrick Lamar following Lamar’s controversial line in his song ‘Wacced Out Murals’ from his new album ‘GNX’.
“I’m hearing that somebody picked up the phone, tried to call and see what the energy was. I’m hearing that Kendrick didn’t answer,” Budden revealed, suggesting that Lil Wayne had attempted to reach out to Lamar but was ignored.
Budden added: “I’m hearing that Wayne went in the booth.”
This followed Lil Wayne’s own cryptic reaction to Lamar’s line, which he shared in a recent post on X (formerly Twitter).
