Four concertgoers have filed a $50 million lawsuit against Chris Brown and multiple individuals after they were allegedly attacked by the defendants at the singer’s show in Fort Worth, Texas. Besides Brown’s 11:11 Tour promoter Live Nation, the other defendants named in the lawsuit were said to have been part of Brown’s entourage, PEOPLE.

The plaintiffs — identified as Larry Parker, Joseph Lewis, Charles Bush, and Damarcus Powell — allege in the complaint that Brown and his entourage “brutally and severely beat” them after his Friday show at the Dickies Arena. The alleged assault is said to have happened backstage and did not stem from any provocation.

The other individuals accused of partaking in the alleged assault were identified as Conway, Hood Boss (a.k.a. Omololu Omari Akinlolu), Sinko Ceej, and Dallas rapper Yella Beezy. The complaint alleges that Live Nation did not sever ties with Brown despite the singer having a track record of “bad conduct and violent conduct” and “shamelessly profits and promotes Brown’s The 11:11 Tour and brought Brown to Texas for financial gain.”

“This is Texas. The people here don’t care how important or famous you think you are, you have an obligation to follow the laws and conduct yourself in an appropriate way. Unprovoked violence can’t and won’t be tolerated. We intend to seek all damages that the law allows against Brown and his cohorts, to include punitive damages,” Tony Buzbee, the attorney for the plaintiffs, said in a statement.

The complaint also provided extensive details about how the alleged attack unfolded. “The violence included Brown and his entourage surrounding the Plaintiffs, throwing chairs at them, and repeatedly kicking, stomping, and beating them,” the complaint alleges. “The unprovoked violence included multiple strikes to the Plaintiffs’ heads and chests, and ultimately involved stomping them while they were down. The brutal, violent assault participated in and directed by Brown, severely injured all Plaintiffs.”

The lawsuit states that the four men were initially in the VIP area of the Heat singer’s show, adding that they went there to meet the singer after they were invited. The suit also alleges that the four men waited for Brown for 30 minutes, adding that Bush ultimately headed to the exit and congratulated Brown on his set after they had gotten tired of waiting for the Sensational singer, PEOPLE reported.

But one of the individuals in Brown’s entourage allegedly said, “Man, you don’t remember you two were beefing?” Brown, 35, per the lawsuit, allegedly responded, “Oh yeah, we were…I don’t forget s—” and then encouraged the other defendants to “f—” Bush up.

The lawsuit claims that the four men then attempted to leave, but “seven to 10” people in Brown’s entourage ultimately assaulted them in a hallway after they followed the plaintiffs.

“One of Brown’s entourage, known by the alias Sinko, ran to the left side of the crowd and punched Bush in the chest,” per the lawsuit. “Simultaneously, another of Brown’s entourage, stage alias Hood Boss, picked up a chair and threw it at Bush’s head.”

Brown is further accused of instructing Yella Beezy, whose real name is Markies Deandre Conway, and multiple accomplices to also “f—” Parker up, PEOPLE reported.

“Upon instruction by Brown, Parker was then punched in the face and chest, kicked in the head for over ten minutes, and stomped on by Defendant Brown and his associates,” the complaint alleges.“Brown encouraged his companions to join in the assault simultaneously. Brown and his entourage then continued to beat Plaintiff Parker closed fisted for almost minutes, repeatedly stomping on Defendant Parker’s head, kicking his face and ribs, and causing severe bodily injury.”

The complaint also states that the four defendants received medical attention as a result of the alleged assault, adding that Parker was admitted to the hospital and had to “undergo extensive medical treatment” for the injuries he suffered.

Besides seeking over $50 million in compensatory and punitive damages, the plaintiffs also want the court to grant them actual damages for “pecuniary losses, pain and suffering, disfigurement, mental anguish, and past, present, and future medical expenses.”
