Valentine’s Day Concert in Lagos has a New Co-Host: Kim Kardashian

The day of love  will be celebrated in Nigeria with a Valentine’s Day concert hosted by Kim Kardashian of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" and Nigerian R&B singer, Darey Art Alade.

The concert will be held on February 17th at the Convention Center of the Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos. It is sure to attract tons of support, with artists like 2face Idibia, Flavour, Ice Prince, Iyanya, Naeto and others set to perform.

Darey Art Alade spoke with The Premium Times about his hopes for the big day with the help of his co-host:

"We're bringing together some of the greatest talents in the world of entertainment for a special evening where we celebrate love and all it means to us…Millions of Nigerians follow Kim on her different shows, especially Keeping up with the Kardashians, and we thought it'd be a good idea to have her co-host Love…Like a movie with me," Darey said.

Kim Kardashian has visited several African countries including South Africa to endorse the alcoholic drink “Brutal Fruit,” Ivory Coast in January, and now Nigeria will be her next stop.

But some critiics are upset that some African talents who could take on the job have been skipped for Kim K. What do you think? Is this a plausible argument?
