Drake’s music is setting him apart, as he has become the first artist to reach 120 billion Spotify streams across all credits (including his solo output and collaborations with other artists), according to Chart Data.
This means that the 38-year-old has increased his lead as the most-streamed musician on the world’s most popular music streaming platform.
To put that massive statistic in context, Taylor Swift is the second most-streamed artist on Spotify, with just over 110 billion (and counting) spins, according to Kworb, as reported by HipHopDX.
Bad Bunny, who ranks third on that list, is the only other artist with over 100 billion streams. The Weeknd, Justin Bieber, and Ed Sheeran are next in line with 84.5 billion, 64.2 billion, and 59.6 billion, respectively.

A closer examination of Drake’s record reveals that “One Dance,” which has had over 3.7 billion plays on Spotify, is his most-streamed single. The Views hit also became his first solo number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2016.
“God’s Plan” has had 2.8 billion streams, followed by “Passionfruit” (1.9 billion), “Work” (1.5 billion), and “Hotline Bling” (1.5 billion).
Although it’s undetermined if Drake or Spotify will mark the milestone, the Toronto star received his very own FC Barcelona jersey in 2022 when he hit 100 billion streams.
The Spanish club, who are sponsored by Spotify, wore jerseys with the OVO owl logo for their El Clásico match against Real Madrid that year, a move that made headlines around the world despite the fact that Barcelona lost 3-1.
Bagwork, a cryptocurrency livestreamer team, recently claimed to have played unreleased Drake and Future tracks on Pump.fun. Within two days, the pair collected $83,410 in creator fees, and their Solana meme coin soared to a $53 million market cap.

To find out who the up-and-coming content creators are, Drake called streaming giant Adin Ross while he was live.
“I don’t even know who the fuck those kids are,” Drake said to Ross, according to Decrypt. “What, you actually don’t know who those kids are?” the streamer responded. “I just asked you who they are. What the fuck?” Drake clapped back.
The cryptocurrency streamers later claimed that Ross reached out to them and asked where they acquired the pirated tune. “We told him to come on our stream [and] we’ll let you know,” one of the two added. “He hasn’t responded yet,” he explained.
The two anonymous content providers who leaked the rap track are believed to be 19 years old. They have been at the center of a crypto livestream explosion, doing an assortment of viral stunts.
