A Nigerian content creator’s bid to sleep with 100 men in a single day has been rejected by Guinness World Records (GWR). Ayomiposi Oluwadahunsi, also known as Mandy Kiss, planned to “take in 100 men in a single day,” sparking anger and shock online, Vanguard reported.
She had revealed on Monday via Instagram that she planned to carry out the controversial attempt on October 30.
Mandy Kiss shared a flier that had the GWR logo, and which indicated that the event would be held in Ikorodu, Lagos, Nigeria. The flier didn’t mention any specific venue, though.
Following the announcement, social media users who were shocked and angered by the announcement pointed out that Guinness World Records doesn’t approve of such attempts, as “sex-a-thons” have never been named as part of its list of achievements.
Indeed, Guinness World Records itself responded to Mandy Kiss’ record attempt. “This is not a record we monitor,” it stated on X.
Mandy Kiss, who sometimes calls herself the “President of Olosho,” has often sparked wide attention for her controversial lifestyle decisions.
Her contentious attempt comes after celebrity chef Hilda Baci officially set a new Guinness World Record for the largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice, with a total weight of 8,780 kilogrammes (19,356 lb 9 oz).
She achieved this in partnership with food brand Gino at Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria. Confirming this, Guinness World Records (GWR) posted on its official X handle: “New record: Largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice – 8,780 kg (19,356 lb 9 oz) achieved by Hilda Baci and Gino in Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria ????????.”
Two years ago, Baci made headlines when she claimed the record for longest cooking marathon (individual) with a time of 93 hr 11 minutes.
That achievement inspired many in Africa to take on their own marathon attempts.
