Rapper A$AP Rocky reiterated his love for his partner Rihanna when he went on stage to accept the CFDA Fashion Icon Award on Monday.
Rocky, 37, expressed his gratitude to Rihanna, with whom he shares two sons and a daughter, for inspiring him.
“Baby girl, I love you, boo,” the Fashion Killa rapper said, per PEOPLE. “You won this so long ago, remember what I told you?” he said in reference to Rihanna, 37, winning the same award in 2014.
“I said, ‘Yo, you inspire me. Ima win that s— one day.’ Every award, remember that s—? And look — we did it, baby!” he added.
The 2025 CFDA Fashion Awards was held at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City, and the power couple graced the event in what was described as a date night. While speaking to reporters at the event, Rihanna said her outfit was a “postpartum-forward look.”

Rocky has been very outspoken about how he cherishes Rihanna and their three children. During a previous interview with Perfect Magazine, he touched on how he juggles career and fatherhood, emphasizing that he gains happiness from performing his duties as a “father and a partner and a loving husband.”
The rapper and actor spoke about his family when he was asked about the moments when he “experiences the greatest satisfaction and happiness.” “I think peace really makes me happy,” the Praise the Lord (Da Shine) rapper said.
“Being a father and a partner and a loving husband in my family is what makes me really, really happy. I hope this doesn’t sound cliché, and I would hate if it does, because that’s what honestly does get me going: being able to express myself creatively, being able to be a family man and being able to be an artisan. It doesn’t matter what hat I wear that day, it’s just about being able to give it my all and do these things.”
