Music star Rihanna has congratulated A$AP Rocky after his new album made its debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Billboard reported that Rocky’s ‘Don’t Be Dumb’ made its debut at No. 1 on Sunday, January 25, making it his third chart-topper and his first since 2015.

For Rihanna, it is the perfect gift to the start of 2026, and she did not shy away from letting the world know how proud she is of Rocky and his new feat.

“Just me here to let yall know my baby daddy got the NUMBER 1 ALBUM!!! Aaahhhhhh hah! ???? DONT BE DUMB!!!” she wrote on X.

According to Billboard, ‘Don’t Be Dumb’ earned 123,000 equivalent album units in the United States in the week ending January 22.

Streaming drove a chunk of the total, with 76,000 SEA (streaming equivalent albums) units translating to 78.02 million on-demand official streams, ultimately handing Rocky his biggest ever streaming week.

Also, album sales accounted for 47,000 units.

The album reportedly benefited from several physical releases that came with over a dozen vinyl variants totaling 40,000 sold, along with CDs and cassettes sold via his webstore, deluxe boxed sets bundled with clothing, and staggered additions of bonus tracks to the digital and streaming editions.

About a week ago, during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday, ASAP Rocky opened up on the first time he met Rihanna and how that encounter left him feeling a “little embarrassed.”

The 37-year-old rapper and actor said that his first encounter with Rihanna, 37, happened several years ago, adding that it was outside a New York City nightclub, People reported.

“I wasn’t famous at the time. She was obviously Rihanna. And I couldn’t get in! The bouncers didn’t want to let me in,” Rocky, born Rakim Athelston Mayers, recalled. “I was with my friend, the late, great Virgil Abloh and Matthew Williams, and we kinda was getting into it with the bouncers and she came out and we locked eyes right away. I was just like, in a daze.”

Rocky also stated that Rihanna did not step in to enable him gain entry to the club. He said Rihanna seeing him getting into it with the bouncers left him feeling some type of way.

“I was a little embarrassed that she caught me bickering with the guard and stuff like that,” he said.
