Cardi B recently got on the wrong side of social media after she used a profane word against a 4-year-old girl who predicts NFL matches.
The 4-year-old, Reese Donatelli, is the daughter of Anthony Donatelli, a lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Little Reese has gained widespread popularity on social media for her prediction of NFL matches.
In the Donatellis’ “Trust the Toddler” series on the family’s Instagram account, Reese playfully predicts which NFL team is going to win a game against its opponent by picking the supposed victor’s mini helmet, per the Los Angeles Times.
Despite drawing admiration from several football fans, things recently took a dark turn, as her family started receiving death threats during the playoff games that were played in the first week of January. That was because followers felt that the teams she predicted to win were rather cursed to end up losing.
Her father, Anthony Donatelli, told the news outlet that people sent him messages claiming that they had to be reimbursed because of Reese’s incorrect predictions.
“It’s nuts,” Donatelli said. “She’s obviously not an NFL analyst. She’s picking teams based on the color of her dress, or she’ll pick the Packers because she likes cheese. She just relates these silly little things as reasons why she picks certain teams.”

Among the people who previously weighed in on Reese’s predictions was rapper Cardi B after the 4-year-old predicted that the New England Patriots were going to win their January 18 match against the Houston Texans. Cardi’s boyfriend, Stefon Diggs, plays for the Patriots.
While reacting to the 4-year-old’s prediction in an Instagram Live, Cardi, 33, used a profane word against Reese.
“Little white girl said we’re going to win. F— that, b—!” the Am I the Drama? rapper said before she quickly apologized. “I didn’t mean to say that.”
Following her comments, Donatelli mentioned Cardi on social media and registered his displeasure with her comments about his daughter.
“That’s my daughter… She’s 4 years old. This is a lighthearted, family-friendly video where she randomly picks football helmets. Please don’t direct profanity toward a child,” he wrote.
Despite Cardi’s comments, the Patriots ultimately won that game. Donatelli described Cardi’s comments as “unfortunate,” but he said he wasn’t going to engage in any back-and-forth with her.
“I’m not here to fight fire with fire. I’m not angry,” he told the Los Angeles Times. “We don’t want anybody or anything to ruin what Reese and I have created and how we bond.”
