Nicki Minaj reaffirmed her unwavering support for Donald Trump while delivering a speech at a “Trump Accounts Summit” session on Wednesday, saying that she’s “probably” the president’s number one fan, Variety reported.

Besides that, Minaj, who immigrated to the United States from Trinidad and Tobago, claimed that Trump, 79, was being subjected to bullying, and a “smear campaign” had been waged against him.

“Well, I don’t know what to say,” Minaj, 43, said after initially holding Trump’s hands as they walked toward the podium, “but I will say that I am probably the president’s no. 1 fan. And that’s not going to change.

“And the hate with what people have to say, it does not affect me, at all,” the rapper added. “It actually motivates me to support him more. And it’s gonna motivate all of us to support him more. We’re not going to let them get away with bullying him. The smear campaigns, it’s not going to work. He has a lot of force behind him, and God is protecting him. Amen?”

Minaj left the stage shortly afterwards, with Trump telling her that “we did pretty well with your community.” His comment was probably in reference to Black Trump supporters.

The White House’s X account also posted a photo of Trump and Minaj with the caption, “BARBZ x MAGA,” alongside an American flag emoji. In the photo, Trump is seen posing with a thumbs-up while Minaj holds her waist.

Minaj announced that her fans’ Trump Accounts would receive contributions of between $150,000 and $300,000. And though she also said that she was going to make those contributions, no details were provided on how the funds would be directly channeled into her fans’ accounts.

Per the IRS, the Trump Accounts, which is also known as a 530A account, “allows parents, guardians and other authorized individuals to establish a new type of individual retirement account for their children.”

“The account is for a child who has not turned age 18 before the end of the calendar year in which the election is made and has a valid Social Security number,” the IRS adds. “The account features a pilot program contribution of $1,000 for children born between Jan. 1, 2025, and Dec. 31, 2028, and who are U.S. citizens with a valid Social Security number.”

“Decades from now I believe Trump Accounts will be remembered as one of the most transformative policy innovations of all time,” Trump said.

There have been multiple instances where Minaj has expressed her support for the Trump administration. In one of those instances, she took to social media to propagate a Trump administration claim that Christians were being persecuted in Nigeria

Minaj also made an appearance at a Turning Point event hosted by Charlie Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk. At the event, she showered praises on Trump and Vice President JD Vance, referring to the latter as “the assassin.” Erika, however, did not take issue with the word Minaj used. Erika’s husband was assassinated during a question-and-answer session with students while at a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University on September 10, 2025.

Several days ago, she called out journalist Don Lemon on social media after he covered an anti-ICE protest inside a Minnesota church.
