Singer Ray J recently provided an update on his health, and it doesn’t look good.

Earlier this year, the 45-year-old singer, whose real name is William Ray Norwood Jr., was hospitalized in a Las Vegas hospital with a severe case of pneumonia and heart pains, Face2Face Africa previously reported.

But it appears his health issues have exacerbated, as he recently implied that his days are numbered. Per E! News, Ray J provided his health update during a Tuesday livestream on Instagram.

“2027 is definitely a wrap for me,” the Sexy Can I singer said in reference to not making it to 2027. “This is black. This is, like, done,” he also said while appearing to touch the location of his heart

Ray J also disclosed that he “almost died” when he was hospitalized because his condition was that serious. He further revealed that his current health issues were caused by alcohol and drug abuse.

“I f–ked up,” Ray J stated. “I think I thought I had more weight. I thought I was big so I could handle all the alcohol, I could handle all the Adderall, I could handle all the drugs—but I couldn’t. It curved my time here.”

The Another Day in Paradise singer disclosed that he was consuming “like four or five bottles a day” and “10 Addys” before he started experiencing his health issues.

In a previous update, Ray J disclosed that his heart was “only beating 25 percent,” but he expressed optimism about ultimately pulling through.

“As long as I stay focused and stay on the right path, everything will be all right,” he said in an Instagram video on January 25, per E! News. “My health is not OK, so I thank everybody for supporting and praying for me through everything I’ve been in the hospital.”

The singer also expressed his gratitude to his family for their support. “My momma and my daddy coming to pick me up tomorrow and they’re gonna take me to the checkup,” Ray J said. “Shoutout to my momma and daddy, and shoutout to Brandy for looking out for me.”

He continued: “My sister paid my bills for me for the rest of the year. That’s crazy.”
