Proud Black African Woman, Winnie Mandela laid to rest

The state funeral of South Africa ‘s anti-apartheid icon Winnie Mandela is currently underway in Orlando Stadium in Soweto.

The Orlando Stadium was packed to capacity, with others sent to the Orlando Rugby stadium.

Among the attendants were Dignitaries include presidents of the Republic of Congo and Namibia.

Also at the funeral is  Rev Jesse Jackson.

Winnie Mandela died on April 2 at 81 years old after a long battle with illness.

President Cyril Ramaphosa is set to read her eulogy.
