Cartoons are usually one of the best ways to laugh at society and its ills. And in Africa, we have quite a number of such cartoonists who capture the excesses and foolishness of politicians in the most hysterical ways.
However, such cartoons have put them into trouble with the politicians and authorities. They have been arrested, tortured and even killed for their work. Many others have been censored in many ways, forcing them to look for other methods of showcasing their work for all to see.
