Well, it looks like popular Ugandan musician and member of parliament Bobi Wine who has been in the news lately for daring to stand against President Museveni and his government is fast becoming an inspiration among his peers.
Malawian hip-hop artist Limbani Kalilani, known by his stage name Tay Grin has also expressed his desire to become a Member of Parliament in his country on the ticket of the incumbent Democratic Progressive Party.
The rapper took to his Twitter page to make the announcement with the caption, “The Journey has begun, I am running for MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT (MP) FOR LILONGWE CITY CENTRE. I need your support, let’s work together to develop our country.”
