Pirates Museum
The Pirate Museum in Antananarivo/Madagascar tells the story of pirates and also those of pirates off Madagascar. It is the first and only Pirate Museum in Madagascar, which was opened on December 18, 2008.
The museum captures 300 years of piracy not only in the Indian Ocean, but also in the Caribbean.
The museum recalls the piratical past of the African country. The fourth-largest island in the world was once a popular hideout for pirates.
