Actress Zoe Saldana shared a joyful celebration of her Oscar nomination in a heartwarming series of family photos on Instagram.

The 46-year-old is nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Emilia Perez, and chose to celebrate the moment with her husband, Marco Perego, 44, and their three children, twins Cy and Bowie, 10, and Zen, 7.

Saldana captioned the post “How today feels,” and the snapshots are filled with pure joy of the occasion.

The images included a lively outdoor dance party with her kids, a playful pillow fight, and a birthday celebration with her sons.

One of the photos also marked her recent Golden Globe triumph, and it sent a clear message that Saldana’s family continues to prove to be her source of joy.

Zoe Saldana plays Rita in Emilia Perez, a weary Mexico City lawyer who becomes the personal fixer for a former drug lord.

The Netflix film also stars Selena Gomez, and it is up for several Oscars, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Supporting Actress for Saldana, Best Adapted Screenplay, and Best International Feature.

Though she has got a good shot at winning the award, Saldana faces stiff competition in the Best Supporting Actress category, with nominees including Monica Barbaro (A Complete Unknown), Ariana Grande (Wicked), Felicity Jones (The Brutalist), and Isabella Rossellini (Conclave).

Just hours before she shared the family photos, Saldana posted a heartfelt message on Instagram alongside a photo of herself with her sisters, Cisely and Mariel, to celebrate the nomination.

“I am truly honored and grateful for the nomination. Thank you so much for considering me for this award,” she wrote. “I am thrilled to be among such talented company. Emilia Pérez was made with love. Thank you to @theacademy and its members for recognizing our work. Jacques!!!!! BINGO!” she added, offering a shout-out to director Jacques Audiard.

Earlier this month, the 46-year-old actress won her first Golden Globe Award and brought her mother, Asalia Nazario, along as her guest.

In an emotional two-minute acceptance speech, Saldana expressed her gratitude and stated that the recognition meant a great deal to her.

“I have dyslexia and I tend to forget when I’m really anxious. I’m filled with adrenaline, but my heart is full of gratitude,” she said. “Thank you so much to the Golden Globes for celebrating our film and honoring the women of Emilia Pérez. Thank you so much!”

Saldana triumphed over tough competition in the Golden Globe race, including her Emilia Perez co-star Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande (Wicked), Felicity Jones (The Brutalist), Margaret Qualley (The Substance), and Isabella Rossellini (Conclave).

“Selena, I am sharing this with you,” Saldana said in her speech. “I know that it is a competition, but all that I have witnessed is just us showing up for each other and celebrating each other. It’s just so beautiful.”
