4 main issues in focus at A.U. Summit in Mauritania

Heads of state and country representatives converged in Nouakchott, Mauritania for the 31st  African Union Summit, of which the 33rd Ordinary session of the African Union Executive Council is part.

The meeting, led by A.U chair, Rwanda’s President Paul Kagame, comes at a time when Africa is still grappling with a number of issues including civil strife and corruption.

Here are the four main issues that took centre stage in the meeting.
