Colin Kaepernick…ClutchPoints

Colin Kaepernick

Colin Kaepernick did what many are not willing to – he put his well-being, livelihood and economic status on the line for a cause he deeply believes in.

By kneeling down and putting his fist in the air on the football field, Kaepernick protested against police brutality – an issue that continues to plague American society and has resulted in hundreds of black lives lost.

He did not stop there. Even after losing his lucrative job and being unable to find another team that would accept him, he donated a million dollars of his own money to various charities.

He took it up another notch when he boldly expressed in the ever-so-popular Nike ads including his likeness among other public figures encouraging all of us to live our best lives.
