The hero of the American sitcom that aired on NBC every Sunday night was accused by numerous women of rape, sexual battery, child sexual abuse, and others. The earliest incident allegedly dates back to 1960.
The assault allegation against him became public after a stand-up routine by comedian Hannibal Buress became viral in October 2014, alluding to his covert-sexual misbehaviour. Shortly afterwards, many other claims were made.
