Killings in the Plateau State of Nigeria
In Nigeria, at least 200 people have been killed in the Plateau State. The attack, considered a tribal fight for land and resources, also led to the destruction of property. It is considered one of the worst attacks in a country suffering from sporadic Boko Haram attacks.
Measures have been put in place to deal with the crisis including imposing curfews, with President Muhammadu Buhari stating that no effort will be spared to bring the culprits to book.
