Nuts

Nuts, including tigernuts, peanuts, cashews, almonds and the African walnut are grown all throughout Africa. They contain considerable amounts of protein, with just a handful providing between 8-18% of the daily value of 50 grams of nuts per day.

However, because most nuts are high in fat, they must be consumed in moderation and not as one’s primary source of protein.
