Precolonial Black Africa – Cheikh Anta Diop

As a Senegalese historian, anthropologist, physicist, and politician who studied the human race’s origins and pre-colonial African culture, Cheik in his book Precolonial Black Africa compares the western political system to that of Africa and points out how Africa has contributed to the development of the West who learnt from the continent’s pre-colonial governance and political system. In doing this, he points out the need for Africa to return to its previous state, unite and build a stronger and better continent.
