Global Humanitarian Forum

Annan founded the Global Humanitarian Forum in 2007.

He served as the foundation’s president until 2010.

The GHF’s focus was climate change, the Weather Info for All Initiative, the youth forum which aimed to encourage adolescents to assist in solving humanitarian challenges, The Human Impact Report, Energy for the Poor and Drylands: Climate Change and Development, “a regional initiative to boost adaptation measures in one of the most climate-stressed regions of the planet, together with the Earth Institute at Columbia University New York.”
