Aurore

The Aurore was a ship that transported the first group of slaves from Senegambia to Louisiana on June 6, 1719.

Arriving off the coast of Africa on August 28, the ship also collected slaves at Whydah (Ouidah) and Cape Lahou, finally beginning resuming its voyage on November 30.

There were reportedly 201 slaves on board and 200 survived the voyage.
