American rapper and producer 50 Cent has opened up about his relationship with his ex, Vivica Fox, which was heavily publicized in the early 2000s.
Speaking during an appearance on Sherri, which is hosted by Fox’s friend Sherri Shepherd, 50 Cent explained that his time with Fox in 2003 happened at the right time, especially for the Independence Day actor.
“I think that was, like, you know who you go to the casino, and you just hit the jackpot? I think it was where she was at, at that point,” 50 said. “And just good timing.”
“I think where she was at, at that point in her life when we interacted with each other, I was just right there, right on time,” he added.
The veteran rapper appeared to be a bit uncomfortable watching a previous clip in which Fox shared with Shepherd that the “fat orgasms” are what she still remembers about their time together more than two decades later.
50 kept the conversation light with loads of fun and gave credit to “the blue pill” with casting a metaphorical spell on her — a reference to a previous back-and-forth with Fox a month ago, where he posted an AI-generated image of himself as Morpheus from The Matrix, offering up a blue pill in one hand, and a red pill in the other.
“Either way I’m a have that ass in the matrix, you know I love me some you girl,” 50 wrote. “But damn it’s been 22 years, Vivica.”
Fox kept the playful banter going in the comments, saying she would “take the blue pill.”
Speaking at the Ultimate Women’s Expo last month, Vivica revealed that it took her years “to be able to laugh about” her whirlwind romance with the American rapper.
Fox advised the crowd to avoid dating rappers, especially names like 50.

The two have given it a go at each other in public, but they appear to be on good terms after reportedly dating for three months in 2003.
