Comedian and actor Marlon Wayans recently warned 50 Cent about the possible consequences of his actions over his involvement in the Sean “Diddy” Combs docuseries that was released on Netflix.
Following the December 2 release of the four-part documentary, there have largely been divergent views about the project, particularly because it was produced by 50 Cent, who is Combs’ longtime rival.
As previously reported by Face2Face Africa, the four-part documentary, titled Sean Combs: The Reckoning, lays out the “story of a powerful, enterprising man and the gilded empire he built — as well as the underworld that lay just beneath its surface,” per Netflix.
Wayans, 53, recently weighed in on the project during an interview on Real 92.3 FM and warned 50 Cent to be wary of his actions.
“50 and Puff have a long-term beef. It’s personal,” Wayans said, per Complex. “It’s between him and Puff. And before it’s between him and Puff, it’s between both of them and God.”
The White Chicks star added: “Just the way Puff is down on his luck and 50 is kicking a man when he’s down. If…luck turn on 50, you know that you got to be careful what you put out. There’s a karma to every action that you do.”

Despite the warning from Wayans, 50 Cent was seemingly having none of that, as the rapper-turned-television-producer fired back at the 53-year-old in a post on Instagram. The Candy Shop rapper, born Curtis James Jackson III, posted a photo of Wayans’ Marcus Anthony Copeland II character disguising himself as a White woman in the White Chicks movie.
“Keep my name out your mouth boy,” 50 Cent wrote, per Complex. The 50-year-old also shared a photo carousel of Wayans modeling with rainbow-themed accessories and items.
“Diddy got this fool trying to get at me, LOL,” 50 Cent wrote. “No AI that’s ya vibe boy. Keep my name out ya mouth!”
Wayans similarly fired back at 50 Cent with his own posts on Instagram. The 53-year-old uploaded an edited image of the 12 Years a Slave movie, and it had 50 Cent’s head placed on Chiwetel Ejiofor’s character.
“Now let’s think about this 50,” Wayans wrote. The comedian, however, did not stop there, as he shared another photo of 50 Cent and Combs in a hot tub.
“Just for the record… Bro… let’s correct the narratives Curtis,” Wayans wrote. “Rub a dub dub. STOP ????????????????”
During Wayans’ interview on Real 92.3 FM, he also touched on 2Pac’s murder when he was asked if Combs had something to do with it.
“Who’s telling the story, right?” Wayans said. “You can create any narrative as a producer, as a director, and as a storyteller. I can create a narrative. … I can get interviews. … I can get footage, and I could make you think this about that person. And that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s true.”
