Africa’s Lake Victoria forms part of the Wonders of the World: Also known as Lake Nyanza, the largest lake of Africa is documented to be the main reservoir of the River Nile with an area of 6,828 square miles (69,484 square km). The lake is home to more than 200 species of fish which the Tilapia being the most sought after due to its economic importance. One amazing fact about Lake Victoria is that it cannot be sailed on and it also blocks line of sight like a mountain.
