Mokgweetsi Masisi – Botswana
Botswana’s president Mokgweetsi Masisi is attending the UNGA for the first time as president after attending for several years as vice president of Ian Khama who stepped down this year at the end of his 10-year term.
Masisi was sworn in as president in April and he awaits elections in 2019.
