Serena Williams is arguably one of the greatest female tennis players in the history of the sport. The last competitive tournament Williams played was at the September 2022 U.S. Open. She bowed out of the competition following a third-round defeat to Ajla Tomljanovic. Overall, she won 23 Grand Slam titles.

Today, Williams is focused on entrepreneurship, with a dozen businesses under her sleeves. According to Forbes, she supports more than 60 startups through her firm, Serena Ventures, which raised more than $111 million in its inaugural fund.

On the website of Serena Ventures, the firm notes that 53% of the companies in its investment portfolio are led by women. Additionally, 47 percent of the company has black founders, and 12 percent have Latino founders.

Looking at her life beyond the tennis court, here are seven notable businesses supported by Serena Ventures that you probably didn’t know.
