Festus Ezeli, Nigeria
Known to his family members as the “unusual child”, Festus Ezeli was born in Benin City, Nigeria in 1989. After his high school education, his parents sent him to Yuba City in America to pursue his dream of becoming a physician. But his American-based uncle encouraged him to try basketball, which was the perfect sport for his height. Today, Ezeli plays for Golden State Warriors, with whom he won an NBA Championship in 2015.
