Flag of Kenya: The most-outstanding imprint on the Kenyan flag is the Masai shield. The flag was adopted on December 12, 1963, with the black shade standing in for the people of Kenya and the white stripes indicating the goal for peace and stability. Just as with many other African flags, the shade of green represents the natural wealth of Kenya and the colorful red shade indicates the blood of the martyrs who fought for the independence of the country.
