Ari Lennox has said she’s ready to permanently bid social media farewell. The singer announced on Instagram that she will be deleting her social media accounts on December 18, which is also her second sobriety anniversary.

In her post, Ari detailed the detrimental effects that social media has had on her life.

She indicated that it would be better for her mental and emotional health to avoid sites like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.

“I don’t believe I’ll ever mature and be happy as long as I have it,” she wrote.

“I have a very toxic and codependent relationship with these apps. My happiness is worth more to me than using these platforms.”

Ari, who has always been open and honest with her followers, didn’t hold back as she discussed how her addiction to social media has grown tiresome.

“I’m so exhausted with my addiction to the internet and gossip and attention and validation and yearning to be in control and oversharing. I just want to be free and complete.”

In the face of possible declines in music sales, brand deals, and social media visibility, Ari is dedicated to establishing more inventive and healthy methods to interact with her fan base.

She however urged everyone to subscribe to her official website and YouTube page to stay up to speed on her songs.

She also hinted at the 2025 album and tour, telling her followers they could catch her “outside” or on stage.

Fans now have something more to look forward to from Ari before she bids the internet community farewell for good as her most recent single, Smoke, is scheduled to be released on October 18.

The decision made by Ari Lennox to withdraw from social media is indicative of her continuous quest for self-reliance and self-love.
