Mandazi
Mandazi is very popular in East Africa countries like Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania. It is a snack that easily make a good breakfast option when served with tea. The sweet toothed people can dust it off with a dash of cinnamon or powdered sugar.
Mandazi is a dough-like dish made by mixing flour with sugar, water, yeast, coconut milk or milk of any choice and one can toss in some nuts like almonds into it. Shape the dough into preferred style – round or triangle – and fry in hot oil.
