Aged 28, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is a French-born Gabonese professional footballer, currently playing for Borussia Dortmund in Germany. The Gabonese international is known for his supersonic speed and his ability to play as a winger and a forward.

Since the start of his international career in Milan in 2007, Aubameyang has played for several big clubs, including Monaco, Dijon, Lille, and Saint-Etienne. In 2015, he became the first Gabonese to win the CAF’s African Footballer of the Year award.

In December the following year, the Guardian named him as the eighth best footballer in the world. Aubameyang is the son of the former captain of Gabon’s national soccer team Pierre Aubameyang.
