Drake and American rapper Rick Ross have been trading virtual blows for a while now in what seems like a social media beef.
This follows Rick Ross’s response to Drake’s song Push Ups (Drop & Give Me Fifty) with the tune Champagne Moments, mocking the rapper.
Ross, among many other things, said that Drake had a nose job. He remarked, “You had an operation to make your nose smaller than your father’s, because you ain’t never want to be a n**** anyway.”
But on Sunday, April 14, the Canadian rapper posted a screenshot of a text exchange with his mother, Sandi Graham, on his Instagram Story. Sandi humorously addressed online reports that her son was getting his nose fixed without her knowledge in the text.
“The internet says you had a nose job,” she said. “You appeared identical to me in the kitchen today,” commences Drizzy’s mother’s correspondence. “You know I’ve always wanted one, so I can’t believe you would get one without me.” Don’t tell me you had tattoos without my permission and that you’re getting one now”.
The God’s Plan rapper went on to quip that he would have gotten a two-for-one deal before saying that Ross had become insane from using the diabetes medication Mounjaro, which some people use to lose weight. He went on to joke about how drastically Ross’s career has declined.
In response, Rick Ross called the mixed-race Drake a “white boy” on his Instagram story and made fun of him for going to his mother about their disagreement.
Not content to stop there, Rick Ross uploaded another video hinting that he might record a song called Who Knows?—another pun directed at the alleged plastic surgery his rival rapper had.
Rick Ross also demonstrated his lack of interest in social media rivalry when he tweeted on his X account that anyone who disagrees with him ought to confront him in person.
