Idris Elba

Idrissa Akuna Elba Obe is an English actor and a jack of all trades. He is a director, writer, producer, musician, DJ, rapper and singer. He first appeared as an actor in Crime watch murder reconstructions and in 1994, he was cast in the BBC children’s drama The Boot Street Band.

He has been in hit films like ‘Beast of No Nation’, ‘Second Coming’, ‘Bastille day’ among others. In 2011, the first installation of the on-screen adaptations of the Asgardian comics saw Elba in the role of Heimdall, an Asgardian god and the sole protector of the Bifrost.
