Cardi B has threatened legal action against a prank caller who allegedly sent Child Protective Services (CPS) to her home while she was in the hospital.

The 32-year-old rapper, who recently welcomed her third child, expressed outrage in a viral video that was shared on Tuesday.

According to a Daily Mail report, Cardi B accused the caller of “messing with my kids” and then stated that either her sister or estranged husband, Offset, would “beat them up” if they found out who was responsible.

Speaking from her hospital bed, where she is being treated for an undisclosed condition, the music icon warned against pranks that are in anyway related to her children, indicating that who ever is behind them would face the consequences of their actions.

“I wanna make this very f***ing clear, and I can’t even breathe right now,” she said. “Motherf***ers have taken s*** too far when you mess with my f***ing kids. For Child Protective Services to come to my f***ing house? Not my house, my gated mansion at 11 p.m. while my children are sleeping because there’s an anonymous call… that my kids have been getting abused and beaten. Are you f***ing dumb?”

The rapper continued: “We don’t play that s***. My kids live great. My kids have never been touched, never gotten hit, no matter how annoying they are. Don’t you ever in your f***ing life play with my motherhood or my ex-husband’s fatherhood.”

Also, Cardi addressed the racial implications of the incident, and said, : “We’re the only colored people in my neighborhood completely, and for motherf***ers to pop up in my house with cops and Child Protective Services because you motherf***ers wanna do an anonymous call involving my children.”

She then vowed to take legal action, stating, : “I promise you this, I’m gonna sue CPS for f***ing coming to my house at whatever the f*** time it is. [I will sue] the person that did this anonymous call.”

The rapper also issued a direct threat to the prankster, and said whoever was behind the call will see themselves beaten by Offset. “If you’re a boy, my baby father is gonna beat you the f*** up. If you’re a woman, me and Hennessy are gonna beat you the f*** up because you’re playing with my motherf***ing kids.” “Not everything is a f***ing joke. Not everything is a f***ing prank,” she added.

Recently, Cardi B made headlines after an Instagram Live session where she responded to accusations from Offset, her estranged husband, who alleged that she had cheated on him during her pregnancy. “Nothing surprises me anymore. You’ve done it all, so I don’t care,” she said, but later fired back with emotional comments aimed at Offset.

“Thank you for my kids, though. All three of them, I don’t regret none of them. But I regret you,” the rapper said, without directly mentioning his name.

Cardi B and Offset, who began dating in early 2017, have had a tumultuous relationship. They secretly married in September 2017 and have two children together: daughter Kulture, 6, and son Wave, 3. The couple’s on-and-off relationship has frequently played out in public.

Cardi B filed for a divorce from Offset back in July 2024, but only a day later announced she was pregnant with their third child, a daughter whose name is yet to be revealed. The rapper has petitioned for full custody of their three children, and will be hoping things turn out in her favor.
