Rihanna has revealed who she would choose to provide the theme song for Savage X Fenty, the brand she debuted in 2018. On Saturday, the brand shared a video on Instagram promoting the Savage X Fenty Lavish Lace line at Nordstrom.

The video of the October 10 celebration of the collection shows model Alton Mason asking the 36-year-old who she would have chosen to write a theme song for her lingerie and loungewear line. Rihanna reacted as if she had considered this before.

After a small pause, she exclaimed, “GloRilla!” while making the “periodt” hand gesture.

She continued, “Just to see a young lady who’s still grounded in who she is and where she came from, and I love that.”

GloRilla, in turn, reposted the clip on Instagram with the caption “Lemme head to da studio & start working on dis song ion play bout rihrih @badgalriri I luv youuu.”

According to HipHopDX, Rihanna has previously acknowledged her admiration for GloRilla.

The multiple Grammy winner recently proved her admiration for GloRilla by recording herself dancing to the rapper’s popular song “TGIF.”

Since the beginning of 2024, GloRilla has experienced significant growth. She has been releasing songs that have generated a lot of momentum ever since she and Megan Thee Stallion organized their sold-out arena tour.

Her most recent album “Glorious” consists of fifteen tracks with appearances by Kirk Franklin, Sexyy Red, Fridayy, Muni Long, T-Pain, BossMan Dlow, Megan Thee Stallion, and Latto. The project debuted on October 11.
