Singer-model Casandra “Cassie” Ventura has revealed that she is expecting her third child with husband Alex Fine.
She posted a casual photo session of her actor husband and their two daughters, Frankie, age five, and Sunny, age one, on Instagram to announce the news.
Cassie may have hinted that their third child would be a boy by using a blue heart as one of the emojis in the caption.
In a separate post, Fine added, “Best gift I could ask for.”
The “Me & U” singer and her spouse mentioned photographer Jorden Keith in their posts.
Keith, who shot the black-and-white portraits, had more to say than the couple about their expected child, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Keith wrote in a separate post, “a beautiful new chapter unfolding in the protected hands of God… this is hands down one of thee most special series that i’ve had the honor of creating for with cassie & alex … a family near & dear to me that i am lucky to call my soul family. may God continue to have his hand over all of you as you welcome a new angel into this world on this new chapter of your story… my @cassie my soul sister, you are a force of nature, a superhuman in every way & beyond… the strongest, most resilient & gracious souls … this baby is about to know a love so pure, so boundless, so extraordinary. i love you fine family.”
Meanwhile, many celebrities have congratulated Cassie, including Jessica Alba, who wrote in the comment section, “Congrats!!!” La La Anthony also shared her enthusiasm for the expecting mom, writing, “Congratulations!!!!.”
Shay Mitchell added, “OMGGGGGGGG!!!!! CONGRATS!!!!.”
Cassie has maintained a low profile since filing a complaint against her ex-boyfriend Sean “Diddy” Combs in November 2023, alleging abuse, violence, and sex trafficking.
The first time she was seen in public was on September 16, 2024, when Diddy was arrested on allegations of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
The model-singer met Fine in a gym in 2019 while he was working as a wellness consultant.
They married in Malibu in October 2019—a few months before Frankie was born—in a ceremony attended by only 14 guests, according to Vogue.
