American businessman LaVar Ball undertook a procedure that had his right foot amputated following a ‘serious medical issue’ he suffered.
Ball is the Big Baller Brand co-founder and also the father of Hornets guard LaMelo Ball, Bulls guard Lonzo Ball and former NBA star LiAngelo Ball.
Recently, he undertook a procedure that saw his right foot removed, and a TMZ report on Wednesday indicated that the camp of the businessman says he’s in great spirits and doing well.
No additional details about how and what caused the procedure was revealed.

57-year-old Ball and his sons are also yet to comment on the current situation their father is facing.
The head of the Ball family has often come into the limelight for being outspoken and leading the line of his sons’ basketball careers.
In 2017, Lonzo was the second overall pick by the Lakers in the NBA Draft while LaMelo became the third overall pick in the 2020 draft by the Hornets.
Lonzo Ball and the Chicago Bulls agreed to a two-year, $20 million contract extension in February despite his ongoing recovery from a knee injury that has sidelined him for over 1,000 days, as per the New York Post.
LaMelo Ball is a 2021 NBA Rookie of the Year and an All-Star in 2022.
This season, he averages 27.3 points but is currently sidelined due to an ankle injury.
LiAngelo Ball last played for Mexico’s Astros de Jalisco before he launched his rap career and recently performed his latest song, Tweaker, at NBA All-Star Weekend in San Francisco.
Though their dad has always been vocal about their career journey, he’s taken a little step back in recent years as his sons continue to mature in the space.
