Sudanese Pound:  Sudan issued new banknotes on July 24, 2011, following the secession of its southern regions. Its exchange rate currently rests at 1 SDG to $0.16473 dollars. Recently,, the pound has faced some decline, following the burgeoning external debt of Sudan and also a double digit inflation rate of 18.2%
