Holographic displays at Shuri’s lab — Den of Geek

Hologram

Holographic displays have often been associated with science fiction films like Avatar and the Iron Man; Black Panther is no different. In the cosmic movie, King T’Challa (Black Panther) and others in Wakanda are seen using wrist-mounted hologram projectors for three-dimensional Facetime chat with one another. Holographic displays utilize light diffraction to create a virtual three-dimensional image of an object. They are different from other forms of 3D imaging as they do not require the aid of any special glasses or external equipment for a viewer to see the image. Holographic displays are one of the significant areas of research at the moment in optical labs.
