Cunning ways some Africans are using marijuana to avoid arrest

Africans are mixing marijuana in soup

Marijuana is illegal in several African countries but this has not prevented people from consuming the drug.

Smoking, which is the commonest way people use the drug, can be easily detected and hence the culprits can be arrested.

But the trend is increasingly changing, as the drug is now being concealed in various products one could not easily suspect, making it difficult for security agencies to effect arrests.

As the world commemorates International Day against drug abuse to highlight the serious effects of drug abuse on people’s health and development, here are some of the sly ways narcotics are still being traded and used in Africa that demand swift attention by law enforcers.
