Formerly a port for slave traders, Tadjoura Town is one of the oldest towns on the African east coast, dating back to the 12th century. It is commonly referred to as “La Ville Blanche” or the White Town due to its whitewashed houses. Tadjoura Town is an appropriate spot for sightseeing and seaside walks.
