Drake has been teasing his followers with his scented candles from his new Better World Fragrance House (BWFH) since June. Now, one out of the five signature scents “actually smells like Drake.”
Carby Musk is the scented candle that will make your room smell like Drake because it is reportedly the personal fragrance the artiste wears. It retails for $80 and has undertones of musk, ambers, cashmere, suede, and velvet.
The Canadian rapper teamed up with fragrance house Givaudan and fragrance expert Michael Carby of the Swiss fragrance house to create five unique luxury candles which are all sold out, according to Instyle.
Per Carby’s Revolve page, Carby Musk is a “smooth musk fragrance” that is as “introspective as an interpretation of your beautiful self, yet extroversive as how you would want others to see your bold and brilliant self.”
The other scents include Good Thoughts, Williamsburg Sleepover, and Sweeter Tings.
Sweeter Tings is “an addictive and nostalgic Oriental Gourmand fragrance with the subtleties of comfort and goodness. Features notes of Bergamot, Lemon Peel, Dark Voodoo Rose, Warm Cedarwood, and Soft Musks.”
Meanwhile, Williamsburg Sleepover is “a genderless and luminous floral-woody musk fragrance that captures the essence of an urban garden under shaded lights. Features notes of Rose, Lily of the Valley, Vetiver, Amber, Musk, Patchouli, and Cedarwood.”
Muskoka will be perfect for the holiday season as it gives off an oriental woody fragrance that simulates that of the warmth from burning woods and gives off fireplace vibes. It has undertones of Birch Tar, Fresh Clove Buds, Cedarwood, Sandalwood, and Smoked Leather Accord.
Good Thoughts, like all the other scents, retails for $48. According to Revolve, it is “a bouquet of rich florals surrounded by a vibrant bright light of freshness for a captivating positive energy. Features notes of Fresh Aldehydes, Bergamot Oil- Italy, Fir Balsam Oil – Canada, Ylang Ylang – Madagascar, Clove Buds, Pimento Berries – Jamaica, Sandalwood Oil Album – Australia, Patchouli Oil – Indonesia, and Sensual Musks.”
Samples of the luxury candles have already been gifted to Drake’s celebrity friends after he posted about his new line on his Instagram story. The lucky few include Toronto Raptors players Norm Powell, Fred Van Fleet, and Kyle Lowry, as well as Stephen Curry and his wife Ayesha and R&B singer Kehlani.
The entire collection is yet to be launched and no one knows when the Champaign Papi will restock the sold-out candles or when everyone can light a BWFH candle in their homes. Both the BWFH’s website and Instagram handles have no posts yet.
